Objetivos:
Esse curso visa apresentar aos alunos de ciências exatas noções fundamentais de métodos numéricos e computacionais, visando a solução de problemas típicos em modelagem matemática onde um tratamento analítico não é prático ou mesmo viável. Essa gama de problemas abrange a solução de equações algébricas não lineares; sistemas lineares de grande porte; ajuste ou interpolação de curvas a um dado conjunto de pontos; resolução de integrais complicadas.
